About

I am a retired college professor of Teacher Education and high school English teacher.  After 41 years in the classroom or administering programs, I am spending my time writing, listening to live music–mostly in Omaha and nearby, enjoying my three grandchildren, traveling a bit, and figuring out what else to do with myself.

My writing here is primarily short essays from my observations and from my life.  Occasionally I will post some of my poetry or short fiction, maybe pieces of the novel I’ve been trying to write for several years now.
